Not all boaters need to pay for the finished deck which comes with most of todays mass produced boats. Starting with a traditional "gull-wing" design, we added lift chines, spray guard, a sharper bow entry, and a short keel. With these modifications, this boat has excellent light chop handling characteristics, and handles excessive bow load.

As with all small boats, there has to be a balance between stability, performance, and how wet the boat rides. The 15' Freeport Skiff is an economical entry level boat which can withstand the abuse of a novice boater, including the kind dished out by younger drivers. This hull can be rigged with a tiller engine or with several different console configurations. Every Freeport Skiff is built to order.
